As August came to a close, we wrapped up Child Sponsorship Month, our campaign to match every child in our program with a sponsor. Our goal was lofty, and, to be honest, we didn’t quite hit it. But, because of your partnership, we did find sponsors for 28 children. That’s roughly one sponsorship a day for the month. Think about it. Almost every day in August, a child was connected with an individual or family half way around the world. Every day, a child’s future became a little brighter as doors to education and hope were opened. That is truly the love of Christ in action. Thank you.
Child Sponsorship Month came to a close with our Open House on August 29th. Around 60 friends from around Indianapolis joined us at our new offices for dinner as we shared about God’s work in India and Nepal. We also unveiled three new videos highlighting our work planting churches, caring for children and fighting poverty. It was an excellent evening of fellowship and celebration of God’s faithfulness to our ministry.
August has been a month of tremendous blessing. In terms of new sponsorships, it was one of the most successful months in our history. As we look to the future, we’re excited to see how God will continue to make His presence known in India and Nepal. We’re so glad you have chosen to partner with us on the journey.
Just because Child Sponsorship Month is over doesn’t mean you can’t sponsor a child. It’s always a great time to help change a child’s life!
