Nepal Training School Graduates New Class of Local Workers

On November 13th 2007, ServLife’s training school in Kathmandu, Nepal, graduated ten local workers and new church planters. This is the second graduation class to complete the training school in Nepal, and these church planters will now go back to their villages to plant new churches.

Lazarus Thulung, Director of ServLife’s Training Center in Nepal says, “We are so thrilled to train and support these young Nepali leaders who will share Christ in their own village. Some of these men and their families will be the only Christian in their village.”

Joel Vestal and other church leaders from Nepal were in Kathmandu to participate in the graduation, and Joel spoke on the topic of leadership. “The hope for any person in the world is Christ and what better way to introduce someone to Christ than through a community of people,” says Vestal. “We believe that establishing churches is the best way for doors into the community to then minister in other ways as well. It is so amazing to see and support these emerging leaders.”

ServLife partners with local churches in Nepal to train and send local Nepali missionaries and church planters throughout Nepal. For $25/month you can empower one of these church planters to do their ministry and make an eternal impact. Click here to sponsor a church planter.
