Unlikely Contributors

Nevins Family-5ServLife’s mission of building global community sometimes involves unlikely contributors. In this case, it involves three children from Indianapolis. Carolyn (11), Emily (9) and David Nevins (6) will journey to India and Nepal in July for two weeks to encourage the families of ServLife’s international directors. The wives and children of the directors are an essential part of ServLife’s work, sharing in the ministry of caring for children, planting churches and fighting poverty. Carolyn, Emily and David will pray, eat, laugh and play with their global ministry partners.

Carolyn, who traveled to India two years ago, expects to be mutually encouraged by the journey. “I’m excited to meet new friends,” she says. “You can always make new friends. I’m looking forward to seeing the girls in the Raxaul orphanage, too. You just love on them, and they’ll love you right back.”

For David, the trip marks an exciting return to his country of birth. David was adopted from India almost six years ago. He is eagerly anticipating the adventures the trip promises. “I feel HAPPY about going to India!” he said. “I want to see snakes—a king cobra! I’m excited to ride on a big airplane!”

Of course, the kids will not be on their journey of mutual encouragement alone. Their parents, Adam (ServLife’s Executive Director) and Christin Nevins, will join them. Travelling to India and Nepal is a large part of Adam’s role with ServLife. For Emily, it is often difficult to see her dad leave. Despite this, she knows it makes a difference. “It’s nice to know that my dad is helping other people through ServLife,” she said. Now Emily, Carolyn and David will have the life changing experience of building global community alongside their parents.

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
– 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Please pray for Carolyn, Emily, David, Adam and Christin as they seek to refresh and encourage ServLife’s partners in India and Nepal. Pray for safety, health and a Spirit-filled visit.

  3. Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. Seo Plugin
