$1,450 Raised at ServLife’s First Yard Sale for the Persecuted Church in India

As the old saying goes, “What one person defines as trash, someone else will see as treasure.” This past weekend the first ServLife yard sale was held and was a great success. The sale was to raise support for ServLife and the persecuted church in Orissa, India, where ServLife has 26 local mission workers. Many came out to purchase from the wide variety of donated items and baked goods from the generous contributions of partnering churches and friends.

“I was so surprised of the amount of people that came to this even before we opened up.” reflects Joel Vestal. “I hope that this is something that other friends around the country can organize to help benefit the work of ServLife.”
