Pray for Christians in Orissa State and the 26 ServLife church planters who graduated from our Training Institute that are working in Orissa to share Christ.  None of ServLife workers have been impacted but pray for the situation in the state.

At least 30 Christians have been killed or burnt alive and 600 churches demolished and hundreds of houses have been destroyed by Hindu extremists, who allege local Christians killed their leader and four of his disciples in the eastern state of Orissa.  Over 4000 Christians have been forced to flee from their villages.

Orissa, the state where Australian missionary Graham Staines and his two sons were burned to death by anti-Christian militants in 1999, has a long history of opposition to the Gospel.
