POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations and Finance Coordinator ensures the seamless internal functioning of ServLife’s US operations. By maintaining financial integrity, optimizing our CRM systems, and managing key vendor relationships, this role provides the critical infrastructure that allows our global programs to thrive.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Oversight: Process checks, facilitate international wire transfers, and track ongoing expenses. Serve as the main point of contact for the external accounting firm for the Form 990 and annual compilation.
- Systems Management: Maintain integrity in Bloomerang (CRM) and Clarity (Sponsorship SaaS). Generate financial and donor reports to support fundraising and governance.
- Operational Logistics: Manage vendor relationships (printing, IT, supplies). Lead the execution of large-scale donor mailings and international partner communications.
- Office Administration: File legal documents (Business Entity Reports, etc.), manage office supplies, and handle primary phone/voicemail inquiries.
- Collaborative Support: Actively participate in staff meetings and contribute to shared organizational projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Mission Alignment: A deep commitment to ServLife’s Christian mission; existing connection to the organization as a donor or volunteer is a significant plus.
- Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred, with at least 2 years of experience in operations, office management, or nonprofit administration.
- Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping; experience with QuickBooks and financial integrity standards.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience managing CRM/SaaS databases (Bloomerang experience is a plus).
- Self-Starter: Proven ability to work independently, manage complex projects, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is primarily executed on-site in ServLife’s office at 9953 Crosspoint Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46256.
POSITION TYPE
This position is 15-20 hours per week.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
This position pay range is $20-24/hr depending on the candidate.
5 vacation days, 6 personal days, and 10 holidays per year (if working 20 hours/week average).
