Local ServLife Mission Workers to Participate in First Leadership Conference in Nepal

It is said that there is one Christian worker for every 200 people in America. In regions like Nepal it is quite opposite, where there is one Christian worker for every 10,000 people. Indeed, the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few.

Joel Vestal and his wife Elise will travel together later this month to Nepal to lead in a three day retreat and conference for the 42 ServLife workers who are working throughout Nepal to start churches and share Christ. This year will be our first year to bring back all the former graduates together for a time of encouragement and teaching.

“These workers are the heart and soul of ServLife and our vision to reproduce indigenous leaders to share Christ with their own people,” says Vestal. “It is a joy to serve among the local staff and see the growth of our impact.”

Please pray for this trip and this special conference. This is our second Leadership Training Center, and it is located in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. It was started in 2006 and is led by Lazarus Thulung.
