In early March, 14 women graduated from a five-week sewing training. Widows, pastors’ wives and women in extreme poverty came from churches throughout Nepal. The classes also included Bible study, worship, and lay-leader training.
“They can make money after this training… They can improve their family’s status,” Director Bekharaj shares. “We teach how they can help in ministry as well.”
Bekharaj feels strongly about preaching the Gospel but knows that serving others is how we show the Gospel. “[They] learn the skill so that [they] can serve people better.”
