ServLife has several events coming up in the Indianapolis area for you to get involved with. These events are a great way to partner with ServLife to help us bring light and hope to a world that desperately needs it. Below is a list of the events scheduled through the end of 2008:
Saturday, October 18th from 8 am to 3 pm: ServLife Yard Sale for Persecuted Christians in Orissa, India
The ServLife International Yard Sale to benefit ServLife and persecuted Christians in Orissa state where ServLife has 26 local church planter mission workers. You can help by donating your unwanted items for the sale; we will take anything you think can sell! Bring your donation items to the ServLife office at 2511 E. 46th Street, Ste. C5, Indianapolis, IN 46205, by Friday October 17th, and then come to the sale on Saturday and further support us by purchasing some of the great items we will have. Sunday October 19th from 1 pm to 6 pm: ServLife Store at Riviera Club Fall Festival
ServLife will be attending the Fall Festival with an opportunity to purchase items from our ServLife Store. The products in the ServLife Store are made by talented artisans in regions where ServLife is working. Items are fashioned by women who are working to escape the brutal trap of extreme poverty and human trafficking. Items available will include: jewelry, soaps, bags, paper items, candles and more. We will also have activity packets and crafts for kids to take home. This is a great opportunity to get some Christmas shopping in and give a gift that will make a difference. The Riviera Club will have entertainment, carnival games, a bounce house, crafts, contests, live music, a place to watch the Colts game, food, and much more. Friday December 5th through Saturday December 6th: ServLife Store at Broadway United Methodist Church Art Fair
ServLife will have another opportunity for you to make a difference by purchasing from the ServLife Store. We will be at the Art Fair along with other talented artisans from the area. Broadway United Methodist Church is located at 609 East 29th St Indianapolis, IN 46205, www.broadwayumc.org.
Sundays in December: ServLife Store at Common Ground Christian Church Services
ServLife will have our ServLife Store items for sale after the Sunday services in December. Take advantage of last minute Christmas shopping while helping support ServLife and the women we serve.
