Administrative Intern

Employment Type 9 month part-time (10-20 hrs/wk) internship

Reports to Office Manager

Overview ServLife is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic administrative intern. This position will handle sponsorship and donor activity and general office tasks.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Occasionally process check donations and run reports in eTapestry.
  • Pick up PO Box mail
  • Answer phones, assist callers and take messages.
  • Manage donor mailings
  • Pull information and make necessary contacts for delinquent sponsors and expiring credit cards on file for monthly donations
  • General office work and help out with ServLife events when needed

Compensation This is an unpaid position. All interns receive a letter of recommendation. ServLife is also happy to complete any documents necessary for the intern to receive college credit.

Job Requirements

  • Must possess the highest level of work ethics and integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Possess strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to take initiative to complete assignments and job responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Previous experience with E-tapestry a plus
  • Ability to multitask and complete tasks
  • Good written and verbal skills

Social Media Intern

Employment Type 9 month part-time (10-20 hrs/wk) internship

Reports to Office Manager

Overview ServLife is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Social Media Intern. This position will assist in planning, scheduling, and responding on social media platforms. They will keep close communication with the Office Manager to strategize and plan social media activity and campaigns, and research current trends to help maximize reach and engagement.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Research and test current social media (SM) trends and strategies
  • Write and schedule SM posts, including editing and sharing photos
  • Respond, follow back, and repost outside content on SM three times daily
  • Collaborate with Office Manager on SM marketing plans and strategies
  • Promote campaigns on social media, email, mobile giving, and web
  • Some upkeep and data entry tasks for communications databases

Development Intern

Employment Type 9 month part-time (10-20 hrs/wk) internship

Reports to Executive Director

Overview ServLife is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Development Intern. This position will assist the Executive Director with the execution of development and fundraising projects. They will keep close communication with the Executive Director to strategize and plan fundraising campaigns, research possible funding sources, and assist in scheduling meetings with current and potential donors.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Become familiar with the fundraising schedule of ServLife International
  • Contact donors and potential donors to schedule meetings for the Executive Director
  • Research grant opportunities and suggest potential grants to Executive Director
  • Assist with the creation and management of scheduled fundraising campaigns

Video Intern

Employment Duration 9 month part-time (10-20 hrs/wk) internship

Reports to Executive Director

Overview ServLife is looking for a motivated and experienced Video Intern to edit and produce field videos of pastors, churches, children and children’s homes, and families in micro-finance, delivering videos that are properly formatted for final web deployment.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Edit raw video footage into short promotional videos.
  • Produce and manage video shoots.
  • Audio production and editing of on-camera interviews, voiceovers and music.

Job Requirements

  • A passion for international missions and the mission of ServLife International
  • Excellent storyboarding and narrative skills
  • Proficiency in video editing software (FCPX, Adobe Effects, etc)
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, patience and flexibility
  • High energy, self motivated, positive attitude, flexible, team player, attention to detail and high level of initiative
