“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8

The 9^th annual ServLife India Pastor’s Conference was held in November in Raxaul, Bihar. There were 55 pastors in attendance, traveling from all different parts of Northern India and Nepal and representing churches across these countries. Bihar, a state in India that’s been described as one of the closest places to hell you’ll find on earth, became the setting that God chose for an infusion of peace and encouragement.

Pastors joined with their brothers in Christ for a weekend of immersion in the Word, particularly from the book of Acts. Understanding and tapping into the power of the Holy Spirit is the way our churches will thrive and the Gospel will take root. The Spirit serves as our compass, and it was a weekend devoted to submitting to his direction.

“We are so thankful that when they get back to their own respective villages and places, I think and I pray that they are going to do wonders for the Kingdom of God,” says Albert Das, Director of ServLife India.
