VALUES & VISION

Values that Direct Us...

People - We value people of all color, religions, age, and faiths. We embrace diversity and desire to see the transformation of people to be life long. We value people over institutions, systems of government, or a particular religious majority in any nation or region. Faith-Based - We are a faith based, post-denominational organization embracing the teachings and life of Jesus Christ. We seek that all the world know of the love and hope that is found in Jesus Christ. We seek to be thoroughly Biblical, comprehensively catholic, and true to the reformation faith. The Kingdom of God - As a faith based organization, our view is that Jesus Christ came to this earth teaching about the Kingdom of God and the reality of this Kingdom that is available to every person on earth, rich or poor, young or old, male or female. The Kingdom of God that is a reality in Heaven, should be a reality on earth. Our goal is to see the Kingdom of God become a reality for all the people of the world.. Relationally driven - We seek to be driven by and committed to relationships in the work we do. We don't desire to just throw money at a project and never see them again. We don't seek to be driven by or led by a certain cause but out of relationship with God. Thus, comes relationship with the poor, suffering, and needy in the world. Entrepreneurial - We seek to affirm, bless, and seek out entrepreneurial gifts throughout the world and seek ways to facilitate other individuals vision and dreams to become a reality. We believe there are many ways to impact the world and many gifts to be used for the gospel to advance. Indigenous - We place a priority on indigenous leadership in the areas of the globe we work. We Desire to empower and equip those of the nation we are serving. We seek to partner and serve indigenous organizations. We do not deny the role of western personnel and value involvement and a team approach to accomplish goals. Justice - We seek to facilitate justice to the poor, marginalized, and oppressed of any culture and providing them with an opportunity to live and have a role and voice in society. Community - We believe authentic faith must exist in community. This community must exist in a local, historical, and global expression. We as an organization desire to help individuals and local churches build and maintain global community. Diversity - We recognize and celebrate the rich diversity of the Christian Church. Therefore, we seek relationship and partnership with the body of Christ around the world to accomplish goals. Beauty - We recognize God as beauty and his creation reflects his beauty. We desire to care for the environment and help maintain it and preserve it. Clean water to drink and clean air to breath is not a reality for millions on the planet, and we desire to see it become a reality.

Vision That Guides Us...

A Way for Everyone - This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Tim 2:3-5)

Rights for All - Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy." (Prov 31:8-9)

A New Kingdom - "Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Jesus Christ (Matt 6:10)

A Hope that will not Die - May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Rom 15:13)

Dignity for All People - When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, "Will you give me a drink?" 8(His disciples had gone into the town to buy food. The Samaritan woman said to him, "You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?" Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water." (John 4:7-10

Restoration for All - Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" Immediately he was cured of his leprosy. Then Jesus said to him, "See that you don't tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them." (Matt 8:3-4)
