Hitting the ground running is the best way to start a new academic year, and that is exactly what the students at Bethel Kids School did this April. Welcoming both new and returning children to the campus in Marocha, the school ensured everyone had new textbooks in their hands from the very start. “A strong beginning is very important for children,” shared Principal Ritesh. “Providing learning materials and engaging activities helps them stay motivated and confident throughout the year.”
Many students come from families with limited resources who struggle to afford basic educational supplies. Providing these books reduces the financial burden on parents and ensures children start classes prepared.
“We are thankful that our children received books and can continue their studies without worry,” one parent shared. “It gives us hope for their future.”
Alongside textbook distribution, the school organized art and craft projects to help students transition smoothly into the new session. These activities encourage creativity and collaboration. Staff report students are already showing a positive attitude toward learning and increased participation.
“I was happy to get my new books and start my new class,” said one student. “I also enjoyed the art activity with my friends.”
Looking ahead, the school will focus on building a strong academic foundation through regular assessments and targeted assistance. Staff also aim to increase parent involvement through regular meetings, ensuring children receive adequate educational support at home.
“Our aim is to ensure every child starts the academic year with confidence and support,” said India Director Raja. “When children feel encouraged from the beginning, it creates a strong foundation for their growth.”
