From September 12th-14th in Kathmandu, Nepal, ServLife will enable 150 Nepali women to come  together for worship, fellowship, teaching, and to be encouraged as Christian women in Nepal. A team of five American women led by Elise Vestal will serve at the conference during the annual Hindu Teej Festival.The Hindu Teei Festival is a festival for only women to worship and pray to Hindu gods. As women come to Christ in Nepal, they are often victims of oppression and isolation from their Hindu communities because they do not participate in this Hindu festival.

Elise Vestal says, “It is so vital that women support women around the world who are victims of poverty and oppression. Please pray as we go and serve these women.”

ServLife’s Women’s Conference will draw women from both the western and eastern regions of Nepal through churches that have been started by Nepali church planters trained at ServLife’s training center in Kathmandu.
