When local Hindus had their houses burned down in north India, ServLife’s local missionaries responded with compassion and built four houses in the community for the victims. As a result, local Hindus asked why they did this and doors for sharing Christ were opened. ServLife’s director in India, Albert Das, says, “We want to share Christ in practical ways with people in our community. Many of our neighbors have been resistant to us as Christians living here. We are Indian and because we do not go to the Hindu Temples, people get angry with us. We hope that building these homes will soften people’s hearts so they will be open to hearing the gospel and sending their children to our ministries.” Please pray that people will come to know Christ.
