As we look back on 2025, our hearts are full. It has been a season of incredible momentum for ServLife in both Nepal and India. Reflecting on the past twelve months, our Nepal Director, Bekharaj, put it simply: “This year has been a great year for us.”
Our India Director, Raja, described 2025 as a “year full of excitement and enthusiasm,” and looking at the numbers and the stories, it is easy to see why.
One of our core missions is to strengthen local leadership. In Nepal, the focus on spiritual growth continued with a pastoral conference and various seminars. Bekharaj reported that the team “finished our church planting training,” sending out 14 church planters to different parts of the country.
Additionally, the ministry “trained 22 lay leaders this year,” ensuring that the church continues to have strong foundations for the future.
Our commitment to children remains stronger than ever. The educational impact was massive across both nations. In India, Raja shared that the team was able to “equip and develop 163 children in our school,” while Bekharaj highlighted that “ServLife sent 176 students to school” in Nepal.
The joy of the children was palpable during the programs, which included a vacation bible school last summer. Bekharaj described the youth events as “really awesome,” noting that “so many people, so many kids are blessed.”
The work of ServLife extends beyond the individual child to the entire family unit. Raja noted that the ministry was successful in working “not only with the children but we were also able to work with the parents, and in the community.”
Economic empowerment played a huge role in this community development. Bekharaj shared the exciting news that the ministry provided small loans to help “60 families to start on the new businesses.” Furthermore, infrastructure is improving, with Raja celebrating that they were “able to complete new classrooms for our children.”
None of this would be possible without the generosity of our supporters and the grace of God. As Bekharaj said, “God has done a great work, so all glory and honor we give Him.”
As we close this chapter and look toward the future, we leave you with these words from our India Director, Raja:
“Scripture says in Psalms 118, ‘this is the doing of the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes.’ We can really see the change in our children. We can see the change in our community and in our society where we are working. We really thank you for coming together with us and supporting this work. May God bless you.”
