Isaiah 55 talks about how our plans are not like God’s plans. God’s plans and ways are far superior to ours.
As our team enters into this trip to India and Nepal, we have plans. Plans to paint the interior of the children’s home. Plans to run a vacation Bible school for 100 kids. Plans to encourage the staff and share stories together. But what of God’s plans? Yes, I am confident that these are all a part of God’s plan for our time here. But what of the Holy Spirit’s less obvious agenda? The one that is far superior to ours?
For that revelation, we listen and engage. God’s word does not return without void, and His desires will be fulfilled as He intends. We pray that God’s plans, joy and peace will lead us.
