In Psalm 27 David writes, “Even if my father and mother abandoned me, the LORD would take me in. Teach me how you want me to live; lead me along a level path.” God is the only perfect and present parent, and the only constant to be found in this world. When I was a teenager and my mom died, God took me in and held me close like no human could. He gave me hope, comfort and overwhelming love.

Now I sponsor a child, Bhadra, in west Nepal who lost both her mom and her dad. She would be lost and alone but God took her in and gave her a new family. She is 9 now, a leader in the home and she can’t help but radiate a contagious smile. God has picked her up, set her on her feet and led her along a level path.

Your support helps children like Bhadra every day. It helps Pastor Madan and other pastors share the hope of Jesus with thousands in remote villages. It helps Tulisara, and many women like her, double her income from a small business loan so she can feed her family well.
