Local library established in refugee camp for local pastors and church leaders

Pastor’s library has been started in the Sudan refugee camps of Uganda. The goal of the book shop is to allow church leaders, pastors, and indigenous missionaries to have access to Christian literature. After a ServLife field survey, this was the greatest need expressed from the community of local pastors

ServLife has established a Pastor’s Library in the Sudan refugee camps of Uganda. Most pastors have no secondary resources to equip themselves in their preaching. After surveying the needs, this was the greatest request among the pastors from about 12 different denominations. Access to the library will be free and has already been widely accepted. ServLife missionary, Joseph Hakim, says, “These pastors are so thrilled to get this library and it will be a great empowering tool for them as they minister the word of God to their own people. A resource like this has never been accessible to them before.” Please pray that this library can be used to encourage Sudan church leaders.
