Both Hands

Adam_HS_largeAs I read through the Gospels I am continually struck by Jesus’ consistent ministry both teaching and showing the love of God. Matthew 9:35 summarizes it well, “Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.” It reminds me of Luke 4 where Jesus says he fulfills the prophecy to “proclaim good news to the poor” and “set the oppressed free.” Jesus is always doing these things.

The ServLife leaders in India and Nepal are pursuing this balanced, holistic approach to ministry. They preach the hope of the Gospel, plant churches of peace and love, rescue children from the street, provide education for students with no money for tuition, and empower families and villages to climb out of extreme poverty through micro-loans. Both hands of the Gospel come together in perfect harmony as Indians and Nepalis are taught and shown the love of God and His Kingdom come. The result is transformation of the soul and body. Hope is restored. Healing begins. Empowerment is embraced. Grace endures. Love wins.

I am grateful and excited to have you be an integral part of this ministry. This month I embark on my third trip this year to India and Nepal, and can personally testify to the incredible work that God is doing there. Your partnership, prayers and financial support are planting churches, empowering and caring for children, and giving families in extreme poverty a chance to make a fair wage. It is amazing, and I am humbled by your support. Thank you.

Jesus, thank you for saving us and showing us a perfect example of holistic ministry. Holy Spirit, empower us to share and show your love to others. Father God, may your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

  1. Hey BobbyAnother great milestone for the kodngim as you guys once again lead the way in resourcing & blessing the Big C church! It was very cool to have been a part of the early days of pioneering the internet as a means of connecting with people. Next step for us is to see how God will lead us to develop our online presence here at CCCLiVE.TV! Whatever it is I will always be grateful to our God & Ps Craig & the DLT for thinking both inside & outside the box give the DLT a big High Five or flat handed butt slap if that is appropriate:) Praying for continued blessing Lots of Love Kev & Anne
