In order to reach our goals for ServLife International and our 5 year plan (2009-2013), we have organized 6 different levels of giving that you can give. The following 6 gift levels are simply suggestions. A gift of any size is important. The various gift levels were calculated based on the needed funds through 2013 and to help assist donors in the ways they can be involved. Gifts can be a one -time donation or made in pledged installments monthly, quarterly, or annually over a 1 to 5 year period.
Our goal in the ServLife 1,000 plan is to be reached by 2013:
- Train 1,000 indigenous leaders in sharing the gospel and starting churches, and impacting their community ($900 per year to train 1 worker)
- Rescue and Care for 1,000 children at risk ($360 per year to care for 1 child)
- Start 1,000 small businesses to restore hope to the poor ($300 to start 1 business)
These goals are from 2009 – 2013:
1.) SOWER GIFT: A $_________ gift each year for 5 years [Goal of 100 gifts]
“Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop – a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” Matt 13:8
2.) NET GIFT: A $1,200 gift each year for 5 years [Goal of 300 gifts]
“Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish” Matt 13:47
3.) MERCHANT GIFT: A $6,000 gift each year for 5 years [Goal of 90 gifts]
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.” Matt 13:45-46
4.) TREASURE GIFT: A $12,000 gift each year for 5 years [Goal of 30 gifts]
“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.” Matt 13:44
5.) YEAST GIFT: A $24,000 gift each year for 5 years [Goal of 10 gifts]
He told them still another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough.” Matt 13:33
6.) MUSTARD SEED GIFT: A $50,000 gift each year for 5 years [Goal of 5 gifts from people/groups]
“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches.” Matt 13:31-32
